It belongs to the Cruciferae family (mustard), which means 'cross', as its petals are positioned in a cross reminiscent of Our Lord's Passion and the Crucifix, This beautiful D-mantilla is made from a soft flowy white embroidered tulle and finished with a white Guipure lace edging.

This will prevent it from slipping, minimising any extra distractions from prayer during Mass or Adoration. I found this really helpful for myself, and virtually have a small hair comb sewn into all my veils at home.

Just beautiful! Clearly made with care. The front portion of this veil seems a bit heavy, but that is just its design. Also, this material holds wrinkles. If you have suggestions on how to store this veil to avoid wrinkles, I would appreciate it!
